Enter a world of original species where anatomy shapes every form. The Unbound Menagerie transforms imaginative creature design into highly articulated collectible dolls built to move, pose, and exist beyond the limits of the conventional.
The Unbound Menagerie is a fantasy art-doll company built around one idea: the species determines the doll.
Each original species begins with its own anatomy, behavior, movement, and visual identity. Rather than fitting unusual creatures onto a standard human doll body, every design is developed around what that particular organism needs to exist, articulate, balance, and pose.
Our creatures draw inspiration from the extraordinary diversity of the natural world, combining unexpected biological influences into entirely original beings. From transforming anatomy to specialized limbs and unconventional silhouettes, their differences are not decorations added afterward. They are the foundation of the design.
The Menagerie is being built for collectors who want something stranger, more imaginative, and less conventional from articulated art dolls.
Form, Unbound.
Every creature begins as a species, not a standard doll. Anatomy, movement, behavior, and transformation shape each design and its articulation.
Original creatures with unique anatomy, behavior, movement, and identities shaped by unexpected biology.
Discover limited-edition original species, each created with its own anatomy, character, and collectible identity.
Articulation follows anatomy, shaping how each species moves, balances, transforms, and poses.
The Unbound Menagerie creates original fantasy art dolls whose anatomy begins with the creature, not the conventions of a human doll. Each species is designed as a complete organism, with its anatomy shaping articulation, movement, balance, materials, and character. Through small-edition releases, we aim to push ball-jointed doll design beyond familiar forms while creating carefully crafted creatures that feel strange, beautiful, and genuinely alive. Form, Unbound.
